From Stages to Salvation: How God Used Vision2Life Media to Reach a Road-Warrior Named Nato
Nato, a traveling stagehand and sound tech, found more than just a recording studio at Vision2Life Media. Through music, conversations, and faith, he encountered God in a profound way.

Nato, a lively, upbeat guy from Wimberley, Texas, spends most of his days traveling from city to city, setting up stages and sound equipment for massive festivals and events. His job keeps him on the road for weeks at a time, moving from one city to the next. Recently, he was in Austin for an event, and with a strong urge to create some music, he hopped onto Google and found Vision2Life Media. Intrigued, he booked a session online and came by the studio later that week.
When Nato walked in, his energy lit up the room. Goofy and endlessly positive, he was the kind of guy who made you smile just by being around him. We spent a few hours recording, getting lost in the rhythm and flow of his music, and afterward, we took some time to chat. Our conversation drifted to childhood memories, the experiences that shaped us, and what got each of us into music. At one point, Nato opened up about the loss of his grandmother, a woman he described as a “big believer,” someone who was always praying and speaking with God. Her faith had left a mark on him, even if he hadn’t fully embraced it himself.
As we talked, I felt led to share the story of Peter stepping out of the boat to walk on water toward Jesus. We ended up in an hour-long Bible study, diving into what it means to step out in faith and trust God, even through life’s storms. By the end, Nato looked at me, visibly moved, and said he felt like God had led him to Vision2Life Media to reconnect with his faith. His heart was stirred that day, and as he left, he knew he had encountered more than just a recording session.
A few weeks later, Nato was back, booking another session. We kept the same flow—first music, then talking about life and faith. Both of us came from low-income backgrounds, so we bonded over shared experiences of struggle and resilience. As we talked, I felt led to share the full message of the Gospel with him. When I asked if he would like to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, his eyes lit up. We prayed together, and I watched as tears filled his eyes. At that moment, I knew I had gained not just a client but a brother in Christ.
Since then, Nato and I have stayed connected, often hopping on video calls for virtual Bible studies, sharing music, and talking about life. He’s still growing in his faith, learning to trust God day by day, but he’s on a beautiful journey. Watching him take these first steps reminds me of God’s incredible ability to meet us where we are, no matter where we’ve been. I’m grateful to be part of his story and can’t wait to see what God has planned for him.
